Jemsis walked through the trees. He loved it out here in the forest. Nature... the wild... It felt so real to him. He glanced over at the Aphrodite daughter. "So... When did you come to camp?" he asked. He had brought a girl demigod to camp, but not this one.

When I was 12-years old I came because as most people here, my monster problem got worse so I had to come here as it is the only place I'm safe" she said the last word sarcastically.

"Yeah. Kind of. Safe enough with the monsters all throughout the woods that kids get to practice on." she said, again sarcastically.

"Hey! That's the beach!" said Fiona unexpectedly while pointing ahead. True to her word, between the trees you could see waves gently lapping at the sandy shore.

Jemsis grinned, "beat you there!" he said to her. He took off in a sprint, his hooves not really working right in the lush and dense foliage of the forest floor.

He probably thinks he can beat me! thought Fiona. I'll prove him wrong!!!Noticing him limping through, she also thought sneakers beats hooves when it comes to the forest!

Jemsis cantered through the forest. "Auughh!!" he screamed, as he tripped on a branch and tumbled over.

Jemsis sat up, and laughed abit. "I think i twisted a horn..." he mumbled, stroking his head. "The beach is just right there too.." he said peering between some branches.

Fiona quickly ran to the shore and back. "There, I win" she said smirking.

Jemsis grunted. "No! Y-you cheated or something!" He got awkwardly to his hooves.
Meggi peered out from behind a tree. "Hello, you two," she said in a sing song voice, waving her lanky arm and hand gently.

"I did not. I took advantage of you falling down." retorted Fiona, though she was still smirking. "Did you see?" she asked the newcomer. "Anyone who'd been watching would've said I had won fair and square. Well, maybe not square but I did not cheat." she continued. She pulled off her hat and sniffed it. "Darn, the perfume's gone." she said while pulling out a small purple spray bottle.

"Well! Thats still cheatin!" Jemsis complained stomping his hoof on a twig. He walked over to Fiona and asked, "Whats that?"
Meggi plodded out after them. Standing on the beach in platforms. She smiled serenly, "Hm? Oh, were you two playing some game?" she asked in her light voice. She twirled a flower in her hands. "I'm Meggi."

"Yes, kind of. We were racing to the beach, then Jemsis tripped. So I took advantage and beat him to the beach." she said. She then sprayed the bottle at Jemsis. "And THIS is perfume!" she said, laughing. Now Jemsis smelled like grapes. She sprayed herself and her hat with it too. Now SHE smelled fruity.

Jemsis backed up and groaned. "Thanks Fiona," he muttered sarcastically. At least it smelled the grapes, which reminded him of the wild. And Dionysus... "Now, ill be sure not to ask you what the things you are holding."
Meggi giggled, "well that sounds fun. I was just sort of milling around in the woods.. Nothing special."

"You bet ya it's fun. You want to join us?" said Fiona, talking to Meggi. She turned to Jemsis. "That all right with you?"

Jemsis shrugged, it didn't matter to him. Although this girl smelled of death and sort of scared him. "Fine by me."
Meggi clapped her hands, "awesome! What are we gunna do?" She also faintly wondered what their names were.

"Oops! I forgot to tell you my name! I'm Fiona. My mom's Aphrodite. Who's your parent?" rambled Fiona. "Also, we were going on a walk, but we can do something different if walking's too boring."

Meggi grinned, "walkings not boring." She took off her shoes and dropped them there. She whispered to apparently no one.
Jemsis tilted his head, confused. "Who are you talking to Meggi?"
Meggi laughed, "oh oops. My godparent is Melione. Goddess of ghosts." She smiled brightly, "I think you can guess who I was talkin to."
Jemsis shivered, no wonder she smelled like death.

"Kind of scary. I guess we have to deal with it though. It might actually be nice, because you could talk to dead friends and such." said Fiona, who was kind of creeped out just a little. She pulled out some lip gloss and recoated her lips in it's sparkly pink. She took a loose strand of hair and neatly tucked it behind her ear.

Melione laughed, "oh yes! I talk to many dead friends!" she actually rather enjoyed talking to ghosts. They were very interesting. Suddenly her platform boots she had taken off floated in the air and floated away.
Jemsis gawked and shivered at the sight.
"Oh I just told a few ghosts to return them to my cabin... I wont need them out on the beach." Meggi began flounting around on the sand. "Your very pretty Fiona," she said suddenly.

"Thank you, though that's kind of normal for children of Aphrodite. If for some reason you don't know, she's the goddess of beauty and love. Yeaaaaaaaaaaahhh..." she replied, watching the shoes until they were out of sight.

"Oh, of course I knew that," Meggi replied simply. She wasn't dumb. She had simply been making a compliment. She walked up to the waters edge and let the waves carrass her feet.
Jemsis eye'd her for abit before turning back to Fiona. "So that walk?"

"Ok. Well anyway, thanks for the compliment." she then (ONCE AGAIN XP) turned to Jemsis. "Where should we go next?"
