"Bye!" Sim called back, waving his arm that was holding the hammer. It slipped from his hand and hit something, causing stuff to crash, "oh ****!" he shouted again. He got up and started fixing it.

Just then,Jeremy walked into the forge, to see Sim's hammer slip. "Sim! Let's be a bit more careful with the tools please! some of these creations took me a month or more to make!" He bellowed. Jeremy had just had the great idea to create a retractable war hammer. He had also planned on making it out of two metals so it would affect anyone and everyone. Still, It would be a bit on the hard side to do that while watching Sim and hear his tongue slipping every time he dropped something. Fjor picked up a bar of steel and a bar of celestial bronze. He grabbed a hammer from the rack on the wall and heade over to an open forge and anvil. " So what are you making, Sim?" He called, as he stuck the bronze into the heat.

"Nothing currently," Sim replied as he picked stuff up. "I'm picking up this stuff the hammer knocked over." He set up some things a set them back. Once that was through he grabbed his hammer and sat back on his stool in front of his anvil and sword. He began to get to work yet again.

A flame flickered to life, only for a moment, and quickly vanished with a woomph sound. There were a few more crackles of blaze as Trinity's finger snapped desperately across the lighter, but they only lasted so long. Stupid, bloody useless thing. In her other hand was a foot-long wire, lined half-way down with a dark brown covering. The demigod paused momentarily in her actions, and then flashed her finger across the lighter again. A strong flame spurted from it, and she held the wire delicately over the flame. Trinity jumped back a bit as sparks flew from the thin metal stick in an array of blues, purples, yellows, greens, and reds. The red-head shoved her lighter in one of her many khaki short pockets and with no grace whatsoever walked, or rather shuffled(with the occasional stumble, of course), towards the forge. That was where she heard voices, so that was where she'd go. Trinity reached the side of the door, so that whoever was in there couldn't see her, even though they could've probably heard her from miles away. The sparkler twirled in her hand as she contemplated what she was going to do. Maybe just sit there for a while, listen in on the 'action'.
ooc;; lol i dunno why but Sim reminds me of Forde from Fire Emblem ><

Sim strained his ear, "Don't look now, Jeremy, but it sounds like we got another guest." He listened abit longer, "sounds like a girl by the way she is cautiously, and tenderly shuffling about awkwardly." He smirked, imagining it in his head. Of course the girl he imagined was on par with the beauty of Aphrodite. All women were in Sim's eyes. Yes, Sim was a womanizer. But, he wasnt an a****** that tried to get in every girls ... yeah. He was easy going and calm. "Wonder if she'll come in to ask for armor?" he murmured aloud as he went to work on his sword. He didn't like how it was coming out. It wasnt magic after all - another failed attempt.

Trinity shifted uncomfortably, as if she could feel the speaker's gaze boring through the wall and into the back of her skull. She didn't know if he was actually looking at her, and he probably wasn't, but it felt like it. The puzzling fact of the matter was that he'd been able to determine her gender simply from the style of her gait. Interesting. Trinity stepped out from behind the wall and into the open doorway, with crossed arms, and tapping the unlit end of the sparkler on her elbow. The fuse was growing short. Cheap things, not made to last long. She didn't like it."No armor. I just felt like...hanging around.", she said meekly, looking away from the two. She was bad with eye contact. It wasn't like they were facing her...but even looking at them made her feel awkward.

"Why! I knew it!" Sim said, "you owe me 5 bucks Jeremy. Or two drachma will work too." He looked puzzled, "What we didnt make a bet? Fine.. " He turned to Trinity, "just wanting to hang around?" he repeated and shrugged. Good reason. "Well, whats your name? And whose your lovely godparent?" he asked smoothly. "I bet you can tell who mine is."

Trinity smiled in a highly amused fashion as one of them, lanky with long, red hair, the one who had spoken before, talked to the supposed 'Jeremy' about a bet that they didn't make. Definitely an interesting character."Trinity. Your name?", she said shortly, eying him skeptically."Aceso." She froze somewhat. Trinity was bad with memorizing all these god names. It was somewhere in the back of her mind, but she couldn't quite put a finger on it."Hef-ay-stus?" The word was drawn out and pronounced in careful syllables. She had a feeling that wasn't the name, but whatever. The deed was done.

"Hephaestus hun," Sim replied simply, but still kept his charming smile upon his handsome face. "Aceso?" he racked his brain for that specific god or goddess. Which was it? It could be either. "I'm not familier with.. that particular... god or goddess. Can you enlighten simple Sim? By the way, My name is Sim."

" Ah.", she mumbled, and looked down at her shoes for a moment. Then, taking a certain amount of boldness, she raised her head again, though still not looking Sim in the eye."Aceso, a goddess. Of healing." Trinity chewed her lip for a moment, and decided to add:"She has a lot of sisters. They're powers circulate around white magic, cures, and all that."

Sim nodded, and seemed to find this extremely interesting. "Well thats cool... My father is over something not quite so pure." He joked, "quite brutish in fact. I bet those beautiful goddesses shun his ugliness."

Jeremy listened in an amused fashion. "Well,Trinity, welcome to the forge! Would you like something broken or non? Sim here seems to be an expert at breaking the things i make" With this, the leader of the Hephaestus cabin, sent a joking glance to Sim " And yes... my hands tell the tale of our father." Letting out a hearty laugh, Jeremy finally got a little more serious. "So, which will it be?" He asked in a husky accent. His words were unmistakable but sometimes his Nordic parents' accents rubbed off on him and showed.

" I bet not. If other gods or goddesses are ugly and fiendish, it makes Aceso and her sisters look that much better. I think they appreciate your father's existence, in a way.", she retorted quietly, and quickly shut her yap as she realized how much she had rambled on. Trinity laughed at Jeremy's comment on 'Sim's skill at breaking things'. It surprised her somewhat when he grew serious, especially considering the current situation."Er, is there any reason why I should want something broken?" She raised an eyebrow."But anyway...I'm not here for weapons or armor. Just hangin' around."

Jeremy turned around, his bulk just brushing the edges of the tables around him. He put his fingers to his chin and started to ponder her question about broken things. After much thought, he replied "Well, In case you need a kinesthetic brain teaser! I know those help me to solve my problems. Especially the more mundane ones." After solving the little problem, He turned back to his project where he took his other bar and put it into the forge while taking the other one out. Hammer in hand, he started banging the bar into a cube, to be fitted with the other bar when it was smithed into a cube as well. Picking up a premade extendable hammer, Fjor started to put two and one together. The result was almost exactly what he had wanted, if a little less portable. But atleast this would be much easier to put in a holster than the original bulky version. Jeremy carried the small device to the entry of the forge where he gave it a quick test drive. It was still a bit jaunty on the extension. Taking it back in, the leader of the Hephaestus cabin started providing support to the handle to help make it a little smoother. It was a bit slower now but the halfblood excused this as being more menacing. Next Capture the Flag game was suddenly looking a little more fun...

Sim shook his head smiling, "Hey, Im actually very good at this stuff! Breaking stuff is not my only skill!" He smiled at her. "You sure? My specialty is weaponry."

" Interesting.", she said, laughing a bit. Trinity watched Jeremy in light fascination for a while, until Sim spoke."Oh really? Mind showing me some of your 'creations', then?" The red-head smirked somewhat, eyebrow still raised, but this time in skepticism. But, then again, it just wasn't right for a son of Hephaestus to not be good at forging. Though, there wasn't much else to do, and she wouldn't mind seeing some of Sim's weaponry, or whatever the heck he made.

Sim laughed, "sorry, love. Ive either sold them to other buyers.. Or given them to demigods. I dont currently have much weaponry I made here." He picked up a long sword. "Heres a beauty Ive kept. But, its nothing special. Sortof on the heavy side as well." He smiled at her, "I could forge you something though." He looked at the redhot sword he was forging. "Thats not turning on the way I want it.. Ill probably just scrap it."

" Aw...", she replied, genuinely disappointed. Trinity looked at the lengthy sword, and smiled."Neat. I'd only make you forge something for me if you really wanted to..." She flicked her gaze Sim's current project, and was puzzled at why he thought it was a failure."What's wrong with it? Looks fine to me." The demigod toddled slowly towards the vividly orange, hot sword and examined it, in case there was something she was missing. Nope, looked like any good old sword she'd seen.

Sim placed the long sword back up where it was held on the wall. "Oh... " he muttered. "You cant tell?" he asked, with a smile, knowing she couldnt. He bet Jeremy couldnt even tell what was wrong with it.
ooc: omg! alliteration! what was wrong with ^^

Jeremy waddled over, through the tables to said sword. picking it up, Jeremy started weighing it, checking the width, and the material. "Hey! We're Hephaestus sons! We were MADE to forge. By the way, what were you going for? A Claymore? This thing is hardly a sword, more an axe. And what's it made of? Whatever it is, I think it would help if you added a celestial bronze core for rigidity." He commented. He wasn't sure if Sim would care or not but It always helped Fjor to say his thoughts. It helped to get the creativity for another item going. the Halfblood set the sword back down and looked at the two curiously, searching for another thing to talk about.

Sim sneered and shook his head. "Nope, not a claymore. And that would be good in theory. But I was going for something completely different..." He shrugged and leaned back, placing his feet up on a desk and his back against the wall. "Oh well! Im just gunna scrap it. It didnt work out."

Trinity nodded to Jeremy, but she didn't really have anything in mind that they could forge. She looked around blankly as the exchange between he and Sim took place, as she didn't have much of a clue what a Claymore was, or a celestial bronze core, for that matter."What were you aiming for?", she asked, just out of curiosity. Plus, she couldn't think of much else to say. Two birds, one stone.

Sim sneered, "I was waiting for someone to ask." He sighed, "A magical item." Hed let that sink in, primarily to Jeremy. It was hard to forge magic weaponry.

" Magical? How so?", she said, occasionally glancing at the thing. The color, it was so vivid and beautiful. She almost wished she had her camera, to take a picture of it, but then again, the sword might melt it or something.

" Not really...how's it magical? Does it shoot out fireballs or something?", she asked, and then mentally groaned. That sounded really cheesy. But, what's done is done. What's wrong with ye chicken. Wait...no that was something else. Trinity smiled at the memory. Good times.

Sim laughed, "How am I supposed to know what it does?" he asked. "Silly girl. You forge a magic item. You don't know what it does until after you succesfully forge it and try it out. Unless your like Hephaestus or another god or something. He smiled, "but I failed and this sword isn't magical. So it does nothing but cut. Boring."

" Ah...", she said, shivering lightly as a petite breeze slithered through her thick, crimson hair. Well, she had learned something today."It isn't that boring...fighting with swords and stuff, I have to admit, it's pretty fun...even if they aren't magical. I think if it was magic, it'd make battle too easy. I like challenge." Most people would think a child of Aceso would despise war and the likes, but it was...fun.

" Oh. I think I get it now...", she said, chewing her lip again."So...ever heard of...of a Snuggie?" Trinity looked at him, smiling stupidly as she recalled the times she and her friends had made fun of the things. The red-head hardly ever watched t.v., but still managed to keep up with the infomercials and their sometimes retarded products.
