The summer sun beat down upon the world, faint clouds every now and then blocking the rays to bring relief to the people that scurried through the day too day things; which was nothing out of the ordinary for a School to have a regular ole field-trip too the museum.
A little boy, by a loose definition of height only as the rest of him could be said as quiet massive, very disproportionate compared with others of his age; He sat by his lonesome on the end of a rotting pick-nick table, well-... not completely alone, as the rest of his class was a good couple picnic tables away, but still; muttering softly to himself, fiddling with a bunch of random junk in his hands. His lunch was forgotten to him it would seem, a neat little sandwich not even looked at, even the good handful of juice-boxes someone had packed, still tucked in and neat. "Aha!" Chad squeaked in delight, removing his hands from his masterpiece he'd created. It looked exactly like one of the old World War II plane, a P-63 Kingcobra in fact, except it was made of pipe-cleaners and pop-icicles sticks; A delightfully accurate model, except it didn't seem flyable at all, until of course the boy lifted it up into the air and let it go with a gentle breeze it's pipe-cleaner rotor started to spin. Off it went, soaring low over the tables, turning about to go about once in a circle, much to the delight of some of the children in fact which let off happy yelps and such; except all the fun was lost, as a red haired freckled boy jumped up, snagging the plane out of the sky, crumpling in his meaty fists, sneering cruelly toward the table were the plane's creator sat with his eye's wide open in horror. "Hey, Miss.Tammy! Chad's been stealing school supplies again, see here." He yelled over to a group of teacher's lounging in a table in the shade, a ratty old lady caught to her face with a disgusted snarl upon her maw, stalking on over to the tables which immediately became silent. "Oh? Do we now, eh? Then-..." She was interrupted as the boy, his erratic purple hair streaming behind him as he bounded over much like a frightened rabbit, shoving a crumpled piece of paper into his teacher's face. "I bought the supplies myself, Miss.Tammy. See? I didn't use the school supplies at all, I promise." He whimpered, eyes pleading as he lowered his head dismissively. "Humph... Never mind then, go give him his toy back Victor." The old lady grunted dismissively under her breath, the red-haired boy let of a disgruntled growl as he tossed back the plane to the other, stalking after the teacher as she went up the row, talking to her in a short series of words, which seemed to delight the teacher. "Ahh yes, a wonderful idea... Alright class, as most of you have been acting decent this trip, we are all going to the ice-scream parlor at the next block, except for you Mr.`von Djii you'll watch our stuff if you don't mind, which you don't... Alright, move it little rats, lets go..." Grumbled the elder lady, and all too soon the class departed, leaving the other boy alone with the pick-nick tables and his crumpled plane. And that was just the way he liked it.
The sad tormented puppy facial expression disappeared from his face rapidly, as his class ma+es where herded out of sight; face brightening, eyes tinkling with glee and delight. "Ahh... Attempt 903 at being a frightened rabbit to be left alone for an entire hour most likely, is a success, yet again, and again." Chad mused to himself, flagging a mental image of adding another tally to his tally-marked board. He sat back down at his spot at the pic-nick table quite content, setting his crumpled plane model ahead of him and getting back to work setting it right; which after a good deal muttering, the snap of the occasional pop-icicles stick, and a twine sound of the pipe-cleaners being twisted, the plane was back to it's original glory and with it back into the air; soaring around the boy in a wide circle before landing gracefully atop the table top, skidding to crash into his lunch-box.

A city bus stopped infront of the museum and Adrian stepped through the doors and onto the curb. He was wearing a black trenchcoat and dark sunglasses, a outfit specialy chosen for this task. He decided that it might give him more attention, but it was cool to dress up like a secret agent. His 'cellphone' was strapped on the inside of his trenchcoat, where he could easily grab it if a monster showed up. Adrian was informed that his target, Chad von Diji, was on a school field trip to the museum. He hadn't been told anything else about the boy, which would make it harder to find him. Adrian looked around, not finding the large group of students. The only person around was a purple haired boy playing with a makeshift airplane. He walked up to him, white hair practicly glowing in the bright sun. "Excuse me sir," Adrian said to the boy, staring at him behind his dark sunglasses. "Have you seen a field trip around here recently?"

"Silly plane, you ought to be more careful." The boy mused softly. Taking the plane out of his lunch-box with a gentle, caring hand; and soon beginning to re-wind it up, so that it'd be ready for another flight around the pick-nick tables. But before it could be let off to go for another round, a voice broke through the boy's mutterings and tinkering. He looked up immediately his soft violet lights glaring up in faint challenge toward the other, but after a few moments the challenge air about him was gone; letting off a short sigh, nodding his head in answer. "Yea, my school's the only one doing a field-trip here today." Chad rumbled, his eyes falling off from the boy and back unto his plane. His hands never seemed that they could stayed still, and finishing the last tinkering left todo; He let the plane go with the breeze, going around the tables twice, before coming back down to be caught in the boy's meaty but extremely gentle hands. "You just missed Miss.Tammy, if you wanted to talk to her; They went to the ice-scream parlor down the next block with the rest of my class. Leaving me, poor weak defenseless whimpering frightened rabbit Chad, alone to watch their stuff." He chortled as if it was a grand ole joke to him, flashing the other a cunning little grin. Muttering once again to himself, dismantling his plane too pieces but in a few moments having it perfectly whole again. "So, sorry that they arn't here right now, you'll just half to wait an hour or so till they come back." He grunted in dismissal to the other, focusing back unto his work, muttering softly too himself, abandoning his plane to go an create a statue out pipe-cleaners of a crane and donkey standing beside one another.

"Well, maybe I shou-" Adrian did a double take as he rethought what Chad had said. Wait, did he say Chad? Well that was easy. "Uhh... Maybe I should wait with you then." He said, sitting down beside Chad. Maybe if he talked to the boy, he could eventually gain his trust and be able to get him to a safer place to tell him about his true parent. "So, what grade are you in?" Adrian asked, looking around, incase a monster decided to find them.

"Fine by me..." Chad's mutter was directed upwards toward the other boy, as he was much to involved with his work. But his work with the statue of the donkey and the crane didn't seem to please him very much, as he dismantled it in a second without even a snort of disapproval. As Adrian spoke up again, he let off a faint sigh but in turn raised his head to watch the other curiously, but his concentrated look failed as he registered the question given and he looked blank. "Eh.... Third, I think." He grunted, brow furrowing as if struggling to recall. "Yea, it's been the third school, so I suppose you could call me a third-grader, whatever that means... Not like it matter's much anyway, the lawyer says my parents care so much about me that they are going to send me to an institute, aka the house for mad people." He spat coldly, a cruel look lighting upon his rather innocence child features, which most would say one that young sounded half to look like that. He let off a soft pained sigh, letting his facial features fall back to their neutral territory, eyes flashing once every now and then with the rage swirling within their depths. "Hey, if you don't mind I'm feeling up too being a naughty child, gotta loose some of madness onto this world before they lock me up... Plus, I want to go and find that nice car mechanic that works near the station, he always has good advice for me on days like this..." Getting too his feet, he began to pack the pipe-cleaners and pop-icicle sticks into a work bag, then his forgotten lunch-box with a final zip, and lastly his model plane on top; before snapping the work tote close, and ready to get on his way.
Ooc:: Just as a add on thought, the donkey and the crane are Hephaestus animal symbols.
And, do you want a monster to come and find them, or not. Doesn't matter much to me either way.

Ooc: Yeah, I'm think I'm goignto turn your teacher into a monster, I'm still deciding which kind.
Adrian leaned back on the picnic table and looked at the sky. "I have good memories of third grade." He lied. "Hanging out with friends, art projects, that kind of stuff." In reality, Adrian spent the third grade playing by him self and beating up kids that pissed him off. After Chad stated what he was going to do, Adrian stood up with him. "Uhhh... Maybe I should come with you - dangerous for a third grader to be wandering around by himself. Who knows what could happen." Seriously, who knew. He could get killed by a monster or something. Being killed by monsters was not fun. "I'm Adrian, by the way."

The suspicious look returned to the young boy’s soft purple gaze, brow furrowing and facial features hardening as he studied Adrian up and down. He seemed to act like one of those child snatchers he’d seen on those weird amber alert things on the tele, but then again didn’t the child snatchers just snatch and then up and leave; besides the other had actually stopped and talked with him, while most New Yorkers would’ve just gone and past by him. Maybe he was a friend, maybe he wasn’t; Guess he’d find out soon enough. “Yea, sure…” Chad mused, shrugging with indifference as he tossed his bad unto his shoulder. “Though actually I should say it’s more dangerous to be coming with me, because of me… I shouldn’t even be out of school right now after I destroyed an entire floor to ceiling glass window, because I was running from, er, something…” He’d attempted being amusing at first, but it soon failed as he remembered why he’d been running and what he’d been running from, he gave a slightly shutter but soon brushed it off easily as a confident smile bounded unto his face. “I’m Chad, nice to meet you Adrian.” He grunted, giving a polite dip of his head. Before waving his hand for the other boy to follow, stepping off away in the same movement. “Come on then.”
-presses fast forward button an itty bitty bit-
“Oh no…” The boy moaned faintly as he shall the abandoned building and the contemned sign out in the front window, but it didn’t stop him as he bounded toward it and pushed open the door. “He said he’d be there for me, always.” Chad grunted in disappointment to himself, as he glanced about the cobwebs and the awful forgotten-ness of the entire building. He hadn’t been here to visit for a month, and the place already looked trash. Letting off a sigh he strode on over too the gratifiee painted front desk, hauling himself to sit upon it like he'd done it many times before; humming softly to himself still observing the damage about the place, stroking softly a bronze statue of a crane with it's head tucked under a wing like it was sleeping.

Ooc: Change of plans.
Adrian took of his sunglasses as he entered the abandonned building. "Wow, I wonder what happened here..." He whispered to himself. It looked as though someone took a sludgehammer to everything. Half the windows were gone, all the chairs in the front room were smashed, shrapnel was everywhere. Suddenly, a quiet 'clink' from the back room alerted Adrian. His hand automaticly went to his 'cellphone'. "Wait here. What ever I say, do it quietly and with out question. Be very quiet!" He whispered to Chad. Adrian pulled the 'cellphone' from his trenchcoat and snuck around the corner into the entrance of the back room. Slipping behind a large toolbox, Adrian peeked towards the noise. Something was shifting through a pile of papers. 'I need to get a good look at this thing.' Thought Adrian. He flipped the lightswitch by his head and the lights - thankfully they wern't broken - came on and illuminated the room. Bad idea. The shape turned around and Adrian found himself having a stare down contest with a cyclops. "Oops." Adrian muttered. He grabbed a couple of wrenches from the floor and chucked them at the monster. Everything was piecing together. Monsters, looking for Chad, trashed the place. Chiron, thinking it wasn't anything important, used the Mist to cover it up. Adrian flicked open his 'cellphone' as smiled at the monsters horrified reaction. The object he held in his has was no longer a cellphone, but a celestial bronze spear. "Chad, run!" Adrian yelled at the top of his lungs. "Go back to the museum! Don't come back here!" Adrian threw a hammer at the cyclops and barely moved out of the way in time as it threw a tire back.

"What are you doing, it's just a condemned building, nothing special about it." Chad grunted toward the other boy, though in turn had lowered his gruff and loud tone to a softer medium. Eyes narrowed in suspicious as Adrian past him heading into the back room, and as noises of things being thrown, he let of a angry yell; "OI, that's my friends stuff here, show some respect. What the heck are you doing?" A snarl appeared on his maw, as he jumped off the counter, striding into the back room. But his anger was short lived, as what he shall shot forth a hundred different emotions through his body, a main one would have been down-right cold fear. At the other boy's yell to get out of there, he supposed he said something really intelligent, like "Uh-huh...", but he didn't move, his body had locked up, frozen in his fear as seeing the one-eyed person-er-thing ahead of him. It got even worse, as he heard a soft humming coo from beside him, saying; "Defense mode." He looked down startled, finding himself looking at the bronze statue crane he'd been stroking before on the front desk was now alive or well some sort of robot thing, and it was now full grown with it's head wavering a few inches above his waist; but the bird itself shifted before his very eyes, folding into itself, soon a bronze sword clattered by the boys feet. Alright between the person-thing in front of him and the bird-robot-sword-thing beside him, it was enough to kick his limbs into gear, as he scrambled away with yelp; skidding out of the back room into the front, bolting out the door and on down the street, not looking back once as he ran all the way to the museum.
Ooc:: Well, maybe not a complete change of plans, if you don't want it to be. You still could have his teacher turn into some sort of monster, as Adrian just got Chad to go back to the museum, and his class and teacher should be coming back at anytime.
But, your the protector, so you can do whatever you like, I'll just have Chad being well, scared out of mind for the time being.

Adrian let out a sigh of relief as he heard Chad run off, but it was short lived as a monkey wrench nailed him in the nose. "Damn!" He yelled, covering his nose as blood started to flow. He shrunk his spear back to cellphone form and stuck it in his jacket. With one hand, he picket up the monkey wrench and hurled it at the cyclops, pegging him in the eye. The monster fell to the ground, writhing in pain. Adrian scooped up the celestial bronze sword and stuck it into his jacket. Leaving the monster on the ground, Adrian bolted out the door and headed to the museum. "Oh gods, how do I cover this up?" He asked himself, using a rag from his pocket to cover his nose. He approched Chad infront of the museum. "Uhhh, hi..." He conducted a plan in his head. "Did you get hit by that robber?" He asked, thinking on his feet.

Chad sat a couple steps up from the concrete walk-way in front of the museum, his work-bag clenched in his hand. Faint trembling or shivering would be seen in his broad shoulder's, but with his head tucked between his knees it was hard to read what was wrong with him. That being the reason most of the New-Yorker's keep passing him by not even stopping to check up on the boy, as some homeless street kid was the least of their worries seemingly. As a voice was directed toward him above him, he hadn't been expecting Adrian to come back, or well actually anyone to come bug him for that matter. "No..." He answered as he raised his head from his knee's to glance through the glare to meet the others face, putting his hands on his knee's to stop them from knocking together. "I just need Ms.Tammy to get back so she can give me some pills, I've been seeing some weird things lately..."
Ooc:: Yea' know, what would be funny if I made the sword change back into it's bird form while it was in Adrian's jacket. xDD

Ooc: Good idea
Adrian's eyes widened behind his dark glasses. Had Chad seen monsters before this? He felt something shift in his pockat and he reached inside his jacket and felt that Chads sword had changed back into a bird. "Oh... Uh, you dropped this." He pulled out the statue and handed it to Chad. Adrian hoped that it wouldn't change back. "What kind of stuff have you been seeing?" He asked, nervous.

"I did? Weird... Prob' did, was just hallucinating that it was some bird-ro-..." Chad stopped right there, glaring suspiciously around for some camera of sorts like those weird TV prank shoes they did to poor innocence people, which he counted himself one of those right now, so best not to spill to much before it was made into some silly show. He cautiously took the foot-tall statue, glaring at it intently; remembering the image in his mind of it being a yard tall with it's head wavering just above his hip, before it'd turn into some wicked nasty sword thing; but nothing of that sort happened again, so he reluctantly set it beside him, stroking it's back for a moment, before removing his hand and re-focusing unto Adrian. "Just, well-... Monsters, or something of the sort..." He paused, shuddering faintly, but continued on as if trying to reassure himself. "But, Miss Tammy says I'm just a silly boy with silly dreams, and that there nothing to worry about."
Alright, so in it's short life-time... It'd been thought about as a stupid old bronze statue, then a robot-thingy, and last a wicked nasty sword. You might say it was a little more than offended, well of course, duh. It was just a simple automation, that was all, but people just couldn't use simple words these days could they. No, oh no... The crane ruffled it's feather's indignantly as it was set down on the side-walk between the boys; it's head slipped out from under it's wing, glaring furiously at Chad and then suspiciously at Adrian, trying to figure both out. He said this would be an easy job, bah, yea' right. But whenever Chad glanced over or turned his head, the automation's head quickly ducked under his wing looking like a normal statue again; only Adrian would notice something about him, pity.

Adrian looked around, hoping the cyclops hadn't followed him. The last thing he needed now was more monsters to freak Chad out. "Monsters? Really? Like vampires and werewolves?" He asked, hoping he didn't sound like he already knew the answer. The rag he was holding to his nose was soaked in blood, but the flow was slowly decreasing. Adrian looked at the bronze statue than was standing beside Chad. It kept movig and ruffling it's metal feathers. 'If you don't stop that, someone will notice!' He shouted mentaly at the bird, wishing it would get the message.

"Bah... Those are from silly little kid stories." He grunted, looking distasteful at the mention of vampires and werewolves. As well, come on, all he'd heared about from the girl's in his class that vampires were sparkly and werewolves that somehow when they turned human magically had their pants back on. [-smack Edward and Jacob in the FACE- Pwn! xDD] "No... Just monsters, just monsters..." Chad muttered softly, shivering faintly at the thoughts swirling in his mind of the past, and the things that always seemed to find him. Wasn't day-mares supposed to be a whole lot nicer then night-mares, eh? Well, guess he wasn't as lucky to be a normal kid.
As Adrian noticed it's finnicking about, most likely trying to send to message to tell it to stop moving or the others would notice. Well, mortals were partially half brain-dxad anyway, so they wouldn't see anything. And if Chad finally realized would a glorious gift he was, then that was fine by him, less explaining he'd half to do. But as the other older demigod's stare grew more perstiant, it reaised up it's head, arching it's neck and attempting to stick out it's tounge apparently. But it was short lived as Chad looked over, tucking it's head under it's wing and becoming still again.
"What are you looking at?" Chad spoke up as he noticed Adrian's focused but un-focused stare to the side, following his gaze to the side, finding himself staring at the statue of that crane. Huh... And here he was, nearly hoping it was real and alive, not just his mind playing tricks on him. Opening his mouth, about too speak again, when an old stern voice interubted him, making him wince and nearly jump with fright. "And what do you think your doing Mr.`von Djii? Huh? Away from the pick-nick tables, not watching your class ma+es stuff like you were told to, AND talking with some stranger that might possibily take you away. What did you think you were doing little brat?"

Ooc: Lmao at the twilight comment XD
"Well, they could always be figments of your imagination." Adrian commented. "I mean, monsters aren't real, except for people like serial killers." This was bad. Chad was already seeing things he knew normal people didn't. He realized Chad was asking him about looking at his statue, jerking him from his worries. "Ohh, um..." Adrian stammered, thinking on his feet. "Sorry, ADD." He explained. "Its hard for me to stay focused, so I end up looking at random things. Did you know that the man over there just stepped on a cup?" He shoved a thumb over his shoulder.
Suddenly, some old lady was shouting at Chad for leaving the picnic tables. A chill went down Adrian's spine as he examined the apperently angry lady; something was obviously not right about her. Before he could logicaly think of a plan, rage took over and he jumped up, hair violently frizzing. "Hey!" He shouted at the lady. "Don't talk to him like that!"

"Sorry Miss.Tammy..." He whimpered, still wincing as he hung his head low, acting as dismissively as he could. Falling once again into his pitfall of being a frightened rabbit. But as Adrian jumped up, his white hair frizzing up violently (which was very odd to say the very least), he struggled to his feet and tugged on the other boy's shelve of his trench coat. "No Adrian, don't-..." But his voice died as his elderly teacher interrupted, her voice hissing like air escaping from a tire. "Bah! And what will you do son of Ares?" The elderly teacher took a step forward, her hands clenching into what would possibly look like talons. "Miss.Tammy?" Chad squeaked, releasing his hold on Adrian, backing up a few steps, eyes wide with fright. "Miss.Tammy?" Came another voice, more feminine in sound, but still a rough intimidation of his own voice; A small girl skipped on up to stand beside their teacher, her mouse brown hair glinting with a faint gray tinge in the sunlight. "Addy?" He spoke, but his rough tone rather weak, as he stared at the girl whom had been his first and only friend. The girl gave him a darling little smile, her canines a little longer than normal, but she turned to the teacher, her lights glinting pleadingly. "Can we do it now? I'm so hungry for godling blood, they are so tastefully smelling." She purred, her tone vaguely whining, as she shifted her head to glare at the two boys her pupil slimming down to a signal streak, a predator's glare to say the very least.
The elder women nodded, letting off a faint growl of approval at the smaller girl's words, before stalking forward to launch herself toward Adrian. Talons ready, fangs barred in snarl, skins shimmering with gray almost like a ghost.
The girl, Addy, moved to the side to skip on over to Chad, giving him a soft smile and looking, well, cute, well, accept for the fangs, ghostly sheen about her, and those predatory eyes, just a normal school girl. Accept that nice normal school girl, was just like all those other things, the monsters, crouching and about to eat him, yet again. Chad gulped, eyes wide and fearful, attempted to stumble back and away; but not before she launched, shutting his eyes tight and raising his arm to protect his head. You might have thought he would have made some sarcastic comment about it, like 'Great, Chad-shredded-sandwich anyone?', but no, his only thought was a 'Eeipp!'.
And a good thought as pain exploded from his arm, flesh being rent by talons; but surprising, before he felt like his neck about to be munched on, the pressure of her talons was pushed away and he felt warm liquid drip from the wound. Was he really dxad? Unable to stand it much longer, he opened his eyes to see that for one he was still up and standing and alive, but another was the actual wound upon his arm, dripping with his life force, skin rent made him take a few staggered steps back, attempting to control the feelings his stomach was screaming. Struggling to keep his stomach in control and ignore the dripping blxxd down his arm, but with ADD, he didn't half to wait long as his attention was dragged upwards toward the demon-girl cowering a good ways off, hissing in pain at the many tiny bronze slits cut all over her that were leaking sand of all things, and more importantly that bronze statue had become that 3-foot statue of a crane, was standing between himself and the monster, wings flared. Ohh, great, eh... It was real after-all, heh-... And it had protected him from being well eaten... "Nice bird?" Chad grunted warily, eyes wide glinting with fear and possibly amazement. The crane automation tilted it's head, to glance back with one of his eyes while the other still focused upon the monster, before slowly but surely scooting back to stand beside the boy's side. "Defense mode?" It croaked out, questioningly. But Chad automatically nodded and it jumped upwards, shifting while in the air and when he stuck out his hand to catch it by it's hilt, a full fledged bronze sword.
Ooc:: To go on with our lovely Twilight-ish theme, I decided to have some non-sparkling vamps attack them. I had these two monsters be, Lamiae. Conceived as handsome ghostly women, who by voluptuous artifices attracted young men (and/or children), in order to enjoy their fresh, youthful, and pure flesh and blood. They were thus in ancient times what the vampires are in modern legends.

Ooc: Ahh, the realistic kind! Good, good *Taps fingers together dramaticly* XD
Adrian felt his blood turn to ice as the old lady addressed him. "Oh, no!" He exclaimed, fumbling in his coat for his cellphone, but couldn't find it. "Where is my damn spear!" He shouted, looking around. "Chad, run!" Suddenly, Chads teacher had talons and fangs, as did some little girl. "Cra-" His flesh ripped as the old lady's talons dragged across his face, drawing blood. "That doesn't feel nice!" He shouted, planting his foot into the lady stomach. "Lamiae! Of course!"
Something shimmering caught his eye, resulting in another talon to the face. "Will you screw off for just a minute?" He asked, in a not so kindly tone. He quickly glanced back to the shiny object. He picked it up and discovered his cell phone. The area was now in full fledged pandemonium - complete with screaming children and broken glass. He flipped his phone open and smiled as it transformed into his trusty spear. "Now we're in business!"

OOC: Hope you don't mind Rain, Tangle asked me if I wanted to join the thread.
Jessica ran up and stopped behind Adrian. "Looks like perfect timing," she muttered. She drew a dagger from her holster and began swipping at the monster. She artfully dodged the talons that tried to swipe at her. She eventually turned Miss Tammy around so that her back was facing Adrian. Over the teacher's shoulder, she nodded, trying to let him know to go for the back.

-x-
As brave as he felt holding a sword in a high guard position, no strike that... With his knees practically knocking together, eyes barely restraining terror from over taking his sight, and his arm were claws had rent it exploding in short rages of pain; hah, brave was out of the question here. Over all the din he heard faintly Adrian's panicked voice, yet commanding him to run; it brought strength and will to his limbs, bolting up the last run of steps and charging into the heart of the Museum itself. Finally collapsing near the back of the place, behind a ruff marbled busts of various different Greek gods and goddesses, where the least noise from the outside of screaming people and the leers of the elder Lamiae could harm is already freaked out of his mind soul, panting heavily and clenching his wounded arm against his chest while laying the sword on the floor. To where in shifted into the form of the giant metal crane, the automation crouched down to hide behind the same pillar as it's little person it was supposed to protect and glaring toward the only door in the room warily.
Miss Tammy, or well the elder Lamiae, let of leering shrieks of anger and hunger as she continually swiped and pounded the Demigod. Till he found his weapon, and the deadly spear came into play with it's celestial bronze end, she warily took a step back out of it's reach. But another one of those treacherous Demigod's came out of the blue, a girl one at that, swiping at her w/ a dagger, she hissed madly lunging and swiping in turn with her bloddied talons, as she was slowly turned around by the other Demigod, her back laying unprotected.
The young, trainee Lamiae stuck in the form of a frail, pitiful human girl, struggled to her feet, hissing painfully at the multiple scars lashed across her frame caused by that demon automation work of no other than Hephaestus. Her large predatory slits focused on the fight between her mentor and the two demigods, seeing her plight, letting off a sudden warning call - though in full knowledge it would be too late.

Adrian ducked out of the way as Jessica leaped over him. "Am I glad to see you!" He exclaimed, a wave of relief washing over his body. He quickly shrugged it off; there was a battle to be fought here. He saw one of the lamiae chase Chad into the museum. Joy - an inexperienced demigod and an evil monster in a building full of deadly Greek weapons. Great idea. He turned back to Jessica and the lamiae. The monsters back was to him, creating a perfect opening for him. Grasping his celestial bronze spear, Adrian jabbed forward and stabbed the lamiae through her ribcage. She let out a surprised yelp as she exploded in a fury of golden dust.
He covered his eyes as the monster remains flew into his face. "Bllaahh!" He spat out the golden dust and wiped his tounge of with his hands. "Monsters are now very low on the 'tasty' scale!" He looked at Jessica and then at the museum that Chad and the monster were fighting in. "Go help Chad!" He exclaimed, pointing at the door. "I'll find an exit!" He ran into the street and and looked for an deserted vehicle. Let's see: Semi truck - not fast enough, minivan - yeah right, hey look, a Mustang. Cool.
He transfromed his spear back into a cell phone and shoved it deep into his pocket, trying not to lose it again. Looking into the drivers seat, Adrian saw that the car was empty and the key was in the ignition - how awesome is that. He slid the door open and turned the key so the car revved to life. He burned rubber as he travelled the entire 13 feet to the entrance of the museum.

"You got it!" replied Jessica. She raced over to the marble statue where the fearful demigod was hiding. "Listen!" she said as quickly as possible, which turned into a blur of sound. "I know this is pretty terrifying right now, but you need to be strong and fight! We just have to get you out of here and we'll explain everything...just trust me!"

The young Lamiae let out a high, tea-kettle whistle; something resembling anguish in the result of her elder's death. Eyes narrowed in hate and pain, she retreated away from the museum's steps - soon disappearing into the screaming and running and distressed crowd of people, for now...
Chad looked up with a low, little yelp of fear; scooting on his rump across the slick floor, desperately putting a few more feet between himself and the stranger. While yes, he'd seen her helping Adrian fighting that monster and all, all this crud happening today - wasn't any help on his social trust. He sent a questioning glance toward the crane automation, it giving a whirling click of answer and shrinking/hardening into a statue. Okay, the bird said she was alright and not a monster that would eat him - so she must be okay. Slowly, he got too his feet, scooping up the statue to put in his work bag that swung about his shoulders; regarding her in terrified curiousness. "Okay..." He rumbled weakly. Gesturing with her uninjured arm, for her too lead the way - at least he'd get his questions answered.
